Smart City Institute Japan (SCI-Japan) is a private sector-led non-profit organization that was founded in October 2019 by Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting, a think tank and a consulting firm, and NIKKEI, Asia’s leading economic media group. SCI-Japan is a leading knowledge and public-private-academic partnership platform to promote the expansion and advancement of smart cities in Japan and the world with over 670 members and global partners.
SCI-Japan will organize Japan Pavilion @ Smart City Expo World Congress @ Barcelona between Nov. 7 and 9. At the G7 City Ministers‘ Meeting held the other day in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Japan, there were discussions on measures to realize carbon neutrality, resilience, and inclusive cities, and how digitalization in cities can realize “human-centered cities.” It was declared that all countries, including emerging countries, would work together to realize a society that is possible, not just the G7.
Thus, Japan Pavilion at SCEWC will get a lot of attention from City Leaders from all over the world.
As SCI-Japan is firstly appointed as strategic partner in Japan, we will develop the momentum to conduct a “City-to-City” collaboration for a people-centric sustainable smart city and climate neutral society. It would be great if you could make use of this event to discuss global “Open Innovation” and “HR DX with “Recruiting Branding ” opportunities with your HQ and beyond boarder.
